Dallas Police Department shared this link at 4:18 p.m. March 19.

But we just received word from the Dallas Police Department’s public information officer that the shooting did not occur there. 

A 20-year-old man was shot near the 3600 block of Greenville Avenue, the Dallas Police Department reported.

Officers responded to a shooting call around 2 a.m. March 18 in the 3600 block of Greenville Avenue. When they arrived, they found Cameron Ray, 20, shot at the location. He was taken to a hospital.

A non-fatal shoot team detective began investigating an aggravated assault. But when Ray died of his injuries, the case was reassigned to the homicide unit.

The investigation is ongoing, and the motive is unknown.

Both OT Tavern and Bar 3606 are located in the 3600 block of Greenville Avenue, and neighbors have long complained about noise and violence originating from both establishments.
