Plowboy consists of four teen boys; guitarist Evan O’Brien, drummer Colin Scruggs, singer-songwriter Jonah Smith, and bassist Isaac Brodsky. Smith is a student at Booker T. Washington High School and Brodsky attends Bishop Lynch High School (whose classmates recently witnessed history in Rome).

Mario Tarradell from The Dallas Morning News describes the band as “four 15-year-old musicians with a breadth of sonic knowledge and passion that completely belies their young ages” adding “Take one listen to Headlong & Roaming, Plowboy’s debut full-length CD released last December, and you’ll hear head-turning singing, songwriting and playing chops that will have you convinced you’re witnessing a seasoned group of old-school rockers.” Read the full article about the band from Tarradell here.

The Curtain Club is located in Dallas at 2800 Main Street. Plowboy will perform from 8:30-9:30 pm and the cover charge is $10. Click here to purchase a discounted advanced ticket for $6. Ticket price includes access to performances at several other Deep Ellum clubs.
