Tampopo Japanese Cafe has closed its doors, The Dallas Morning News reported.
A sign on the restaurant’s door reads, “Sorry. We closed,” and a for lease sign faces the road.
Located in the old Philly Connection spot on Greenville Avenue, Tampopo was in business for 17 years.
Although no information about the closure has been posted on the restaurant’s Instagram or Facebook, a banner on the online order page of the website reads, “Closed permanently until further notice.”
According to the Morning News, Chef Kazuaki Miyagi ran the restaurant. Miyagi had previously worked at Kampai Sushi and Grill in Addison.
Tampopo was located at 6130 Greenville Ave.
