Those of us who ponder these things have assumed for a while that Laura Miller will run for John Cornyn’s U.S. Senate seat next year. So, lo and behold, guess who isn’t one of what seemed like a couple of dozen names mentioned on the lefty blog Daily Kos as possible Cornyn opponents? Even Lance Armstrong was on there, which would surprise anyone who knows Lance from his Plano days.
Of course, as the Observer’s Jim Schutze has always said, why do we assume Miller will run as a Democrat?
