If you find yourself in need of somewhere to go to cool off from the 100-plus degree temperatures, a place to keep in mind is the Latino Cultural Center (LCC).  Today marks the opening of a new exhibit entitled Art and Ability, which showcases art made by people with disabilities.

Artists who are featured include John Bramblitt, a man who had never taken an art class, but took up painting after he became blind.  Bramblitt, as well as eighteen other artists, are showcased in the exhibit.  Each artists’ art is also accompanied by a biography, and details their disability.
