The former second baseman is one co-owner of the company, along with Ben Jenkins and Jack White, one part of the rock band The White Stripes.

Warstic sells baseball and softball bats, lacrosse sticks, baseball gloves, batting gloves, fishing rods, apparel and more.

“We work to design products that inspire stic athletes to attack the ball and life with the mindset of a warrior hunting prey,” according to the store’s website.

At the flagship store in Deep Ellum, neighbors can shop, of course. But they can also grab a drink at the in-house coffee shop, DBLHAWK Coffee. Or, they can watch as employees burn a bat on a lathe, and they can even see a live performance in the basement, which was turned into a music venue, fit with a stage and DJ booth.

Warstic is located at 2900 Main Street.
