Dallas residents will have an opportunity to weigh in on the future of City Hall during a special-called Dallas City Council meeting on Wednesday, June 10.
Called by Mayor Eric Johnson, the meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and will focus on the future of Dallas City Hall, including potential relocations plans, repair options for the current building at 1500 Marilla St., and public safety facility needs.
According to the agenda, council members will receive briefings on real estate, financial and debt analyses, potential relocation options for City Hall and 911 operations, and possible repair plans for the existing City Hall building. The council is also scheduled to vote on these items.
Residents who wish to speak during the meeting can register through the City Secretary’s Office before the meeting. According to the city’s website, registration for the June 10 meeting opened at 8:15 a.m. June 5 and will remain open until 5 p.m. June 9.
The special-called meeting will take place in the City Council Chambers at Dallas City Hall.
