The Nashville-based restaurant will be housed in a stand-alone building at 3000 Main St. It can seat 131 people — 91 inside and 40 on the patio.

On its opening day, customers can get free house-made chips with dill pickle seasoning. And at this location, a new food item will debut: fried dill pickles with Hattie B’s hot spices.

Other new items include batch cocktails on tap and frozen drinks made with rum, vodka and whiskey.

Father-son duo Nick Bishop Sr. and Nick Bishop Jr. founded the restaurant in 2012. There are now four locations in Nashville and others in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Nevada. The Deep Ellum store is its first Texas location, and a second is planned for Houston in 2023.

Hattie B’s had pop-ups throughout Dallas before its Deep Ellum debut.
