Look for street construction to start soon on Henderson to patch up bad spots and make other repairs.
Councilman Adam Medrano recently met with new Assistant City Manager Mark McDaniel to ask if interim repairs could be done to Henderson, while the street awaits the complete streets project, which we wrote about earlier this month.
Medrano says street services will be making large level-up patches and full-depth repairs where Henderson has had major base failures. The hope is to smooth the surface as an interim measure until the complete streets capital project is performed in 2016.
Although there’s no solid start date, they hope the work will be completed within the next 60 days.
