Lakewood Elementary parents are throwing a going away party for Michelle Thompson, who is leaving to take over as principal at W.T. White High School when the school year starts.
The party is from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at Times Ten Cellars, with food from Penne Pomodoro and Hospitality Sweet.
