Greenville Avenue Pizza Co. is again holding its “slices for supplies” event.

Anyone who brings in school supplies, such as new packages of pencils, pens, notebooks and folders, will get a free slice of pizza with one topping. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

The East Dallas locations are supporting local elementary schools.

School supplies can be brought to the Lowest Greenville store 4-8 p.m. Aug. 29. Those supplies will benefit the students at Ignacio Zaragoza Elementary.

Supplies can also be donated to the Peavy Road location 4-8 p.m. Aug. 30. Those items will benefit George W. Truett Elementary students.

There’s a new twist to the drive this year. The teacher from Ignacio Zaragoza or Truett Elementary who sends in the most people to participate will get a free pizza party for their class. Just give the teacher’s name to the Greenville Avenue Pizza Co. staff when the supplies are dropped off.
