This weekend Greenville Avenue Pizza Company (GAPCo) marked its eighth year on Lowest Greenville.

It has been a big year for the locally-owned company. Owners Sammy and Molly Mandell remodeled the front of the building and the interior, moving away from the hole-in-the-wall feel, and they even started opening for lunch.

The physical changes came hand-in-hand with a rebranding effort, which included a new logo on the GAPCo website of a pheonix and a slice of pizza.

Of course they hosted their annual Slices for Supplies event, during which neighbors can donate school supplies for Ignacio Zaragoza Elementary to receive a free slice of pizza.

GAPCo also played a big part in bringing the “Before I Die” Wall to Lowest Greenville by hosting the social.
