A 24-year-old woman was arrested and charged with drunken driving after she hit a parked police car Saturday in Old East Dallas.
Officers were sitting in the car around 2:15 a.m. in the 5800 block of East Grand Avenue, the Dallas Morning News reported. They were waiting with their overhead lights flashing for a tow truck to take away another vehicle.
A Lexus sedan then hit the squad car from behind, according to the Morning News.
No one was injured, but the car was damaged.
The Lexus driver, Melissa Mejia, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and several outstanding warrants.
