A 36-year-old man died Saturday in a drive-by shooting in East Dallas, police said.

Officers responded at 4:15 p.m. to the shooting in the 4900 block of Terry Street, near South Fitzhugh Avenue, the Dallas Morning News reported.

The victim, identified as Lidio Alcantara, was taken to a hospital, where he died, authorities said.

The shooting happened about two weeks after another 36-year-old man, Raul Ramirez, was found dead in the same block from multiple gunshot wounds, according to police reports.
