Among the Fourth of July activities in our neighborhood was the Dallas Wind Symphony, which performed a patriotic concert at the Dallas Arboretum on Thursday. The event featured the Best Patriotic Costume Contest with young Miles Bates winning a deluxe nights stay in a swanky hotel.
