The Advocate reported in January that Cow Tipping Creamery would open near Detroit-style Thunderbird Pies. Both brands are owned by the same company that operates Cane Rosso, located in the same shopping center.

Cow Tipping Creamery has locations in Fort Worth and Frisco. It offers soft serve ice cream, shakes and stackers, which has soft serve and specialty toppings and sauces.

The ice cream shop will share a space with Thunderbird Pies.

Cow Tipping Creamery will open at 7328 Gaston Ave.
