Lubellas Patisserie will open in Casa View Shopping Center. The bakery is owned by Maria Becerra, who worked at Buillon and Flora St. Cafe, and her husband, chef Ismael Trejo Gonzalez.

Becerra has been making custom cakes and other desserts for weddings, birthdays and other occasions since the pandemic started.

The Casa View location, which is named for Becerra’s daughters, Luciana and Isabella, will offer plenty of French and Mexican pastries. Becerra plans to begin with desserts such as cakes by the slice, and from there she wants to expand the menu to breakfast items and even lunch.

Becerra told CultureMap she makes everything from scratch. The bakery will also have coffee drinks available.

The goal is to open Lubellas Patisserie in the fall, in time for the holidays. It will be located at 10323 Ferguson Road. Records from the City of Dallas show the last tenant to occupy that space was W. Wheels Snow Cone.
