This Friday, head to the Dallas Arboretum for Family Fun Fridays. This event is free with paid general admission and includes face painting, a petting zoo, music and more. On Sunday, learn cooking techniques and tips on how to prepare a stress-free menu that everyone will enjoy. The event begins at 1 p.m and tickets are priced at $65 for non-members ($60 for members).

White Rock Farmers Market and Urban Chicken are teaming up for their second annual Chicken Day at the Market this Saturday. White Rock Farmers Market will be all about the chicken from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. including a free Chicken 101 class from Urban Chicken at 10 a.m. Urban Chicken will bring some backyard chickens and raffle off a new coop. 

Head to the Granada Theater to see the rootsy American Revival perform this Saturday. Doors open at 11 p.m., and tickets cost $10.

Samuell Grand Park will host “The Comedy of Errors” presented by Shakespeare Dallas on Saturday and Sunday. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8:15 p.m. Tickets are $15.

At 9 p.m., head down to Four Day Weekend East Dallas this Saturday for improvisational comedy you won’t forget. Attendees must be 18 and up. Tickets start at $25.

Head to the Pocket Sandwich Theater this Saturday for Kids Stuff!, an alternative comedy family improv from 1-3 p.m. $10 for adults and $7 for children. Payment is at the door.

This Saturday, the Transit Bicycle Company will play host to Bellows with Springtime, the Changes and Alys Revere at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are from $9-11.

On July 11, enjoy the iconic film “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” at the Granada Theater. This event is free and the show begins at 8:30 p.m.
