A employee who works at a Central Market in East Dallas has tested positive for the coronavirus, company officials said.
The person did not work in a “customer facing or food handling” position and had not been in the store at Lovers Lane and Greenville Avenue since Wednesday, NBC affiliate Channel 5 reported.
The store was sanitized multiple times before and after the employee tested positive, Central Market’s parent company H-E-B said in a statement.
H-E-B said the individual is in self-quarantine at home.
