East Dallas has some of the safest and most fun neighborhoods in Dallas according to Niche.com.
Niche ranks neighborhoods by 12 factors like jobs, nightlife, diversity, public schools and cost of living. The site’s list of this year’s Best Neighborhoods to Live in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area included three spots in East Dallas in the top 10: Lakeview Heights at No. 4, Lakewood at No. 8 and Caruth Terrace at No. 10.
Lakeview Heights also ranked No. 1 safest neighborhood in DFW. All three neighborhoods ranked highly for their nightlife, health and fitness, and being family-friendly. They also ranked relatively poorly in diversity.
Other neighborhoods in the top 10 were in Lake Highlands and Far North Dallas near Addison.
