The Whippersnapper, which recently closed at the corner of Henderson and McMillan Avenues, is turning into Boogie’s later this year, according to a Dallas Morning News article. Boogie’s (not to be confused with the Dallas food truck of the same name, which doesn’t appear to be affiliated with the bar) will be a place to dance to music played by CBSMOOVE and drink cocktails and champagne. Food is not intended to be served at Boogie’s since it’s right next to the bar High Fives, which is owned by the same people (Brandon Hays and Phil Schanbaum) and sells Burger Schmurger.

Hays told The Dallas Morning News that the bar is changing to match changes in the neighborhood.
