Here are the Christmas-y things coming up in the neighborhood:

The Magic of Santa at the Dallas Arboretum features more than 500 Santa Claus figures from all over the world. It runs through Jan. 2, and it’s $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $7 for children.

The Casa Linda tree lighting is Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 5-7 p.m. There will be performances from the Reinhardt and Hexter elementary school choirs as well as the Bryan Adams High School show choir. Pictures with Santa are $5 and benefit For the Love of the Lake.

The New Texas Symphony Orchestra will perform a free concert at Mockingbird Station Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m.The Woodrow Wilson High School show choir will perform at 7 p.m. And afterward, there is a free outdoor screening of “Elf”.

Fair Park Holiday is Saturday, Dec. 4. The Esplanade Fountain will be set to Christmas music from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. And the official city of Dallas tree lighting ceremony is at 6:15 p.m., followed by fireworks. Admission is free, but parking inside the park is $10.
