Dallas 24 Hour Club (The 24) has announced the launching of a new capital campaign to fund Trevor’s Place — a project designed to expand recovery and support services for unhoused individuals overcoming addiction.
The community impact arm of the HKS Architects architecture firm, Citizen HKS, has contributed to the project through its Citizen Grant Award. The award provides in-kind design services and has raised an additional $78,000.
The Gordon Highlander Corporation has also supported the initiative by donating their construction services and securing in-kind or discounted services from subcontractors. Additionally, The Mabee Foundation has issued a challenge grant of $250,000 that will rely on the community’s support to meet the fundraising goals.
In order to receive the challenge grant fund, The 24 must raise an additional $356,523 by Jan. 14, 2026.
Trevor’s Place will be providing wrap-around services, a flexible community area, a meditation garden, gym, technology lab and library for residents. Construction will be taking place in a few weeks, with the completed project set to be adjacent to The 24’s sober living apartment complex, Tillman House.
