Dallas City Hall

The City’s payment platform DallasGo will be temporarily offline Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 17. The temporary shutdown is due to an upgrade to the Dallas Water Utilities billing software system.

There will not be any water service disconnections while the system is offline, according to a memo from Dallas Assistant City Manager Dev Rastogi. During the closure, customers won’t be able to access their accounts online or receive their invoices via mail.  Residents are welcome to call the automated phone system — 214-651-1441 — and speak to representatives, but they won’t be able to make payments over the phone. While the website is temporarily closed, customers will continue to be able to make payments by mail, at designated payment stations or in person at City Hall. Only cash, checks or money orders will be allowed for those making payments in person.

The new upgraded system will be implemented on Monday, May 18. A public education campaign is being undertaken to inform residents on the upgraded system and how to use it. For more information and updates, visit Dallas.gov/DallasGo or call 214-651-1441.
