D9 and D10 on the Go

“We aim to do these collaborative events with each of our neighboring districts,” Blackmon said. “In the past couple of months, we have managed to do this with Council Member Jesse Moreno of District 2 and Council Member Gay Donnell Willis of District 13. We enjoy the atmosphere that these collaborations create. Furthering the idea that, although we reside in different districts, we are still part of the same city.”

“Districts 9 and 10 are neighbors, giving us common goals and concerns,” said Stewart. “We share a border that includes White Rock Lake and surrounding parks — some of the most beautiful parts of our city. It’s good for us to come together and talk about our shared concerns.”

District 9 and 10 On the Go will be held Feb. 6 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and attendance is free. White Rock Coffee is at 10105 E. Northwest Hwy., and no reservation is required.
