Vio Med Spa, which has a location in Richardson, is a national company that provides face, skin, body and wellness services including Botox injections, fillers, facials and fat-removal procedures.

Individual appointments and memberships are available.

When it comes to keeping your skin in check, a good cleanser and SPF can only take you so far. That’s where modern skin treatments step in—bridging the gap between basic skincare and more dramatic cosmetic changes.

For those noticing texture, dullness, or sun spots creeping in, laser treatments offer a smart and effective way to refresh your complexion without committing to anything drastic.

One standout option is Moxi Laser Skin Resurfacing, a treatment designed for people who want to maintain youthful, even-toned skin with minimal downtime.

It’s especially helpful for addressing early signs of aging and sun damage while being gentle enough for a wide range of skin tones. Think of it as a preventative tune-up—something that fits easily into your lifestyle without sidelining your day-to-day activities.

It will open in the former Preferred Imaging space next to SuperCuts.

Glo Tanning, another national chain, is also planning a location at Casa Linda. Its spas include tanning beds, sunless spray tanning and offer other services.

It is opening next door to VIO Med Spa, in the suite that formerly housed The Maddox Shop.

The Maddox Shop, which sold lingerie and custom-fit bras, closed in 2019 after 80 years in business; the owner at the time cited increasing rent as the main reason for the store’s closure.

Yet, the appreciation for finely crafted lingerie continues—undiminished and ever-evolving. Today’s intimate wear embraces more than just structure; it’s about confidence, comfort, and a touch of daring.

The Foxy Lingerie captures that essence, offering a collection that balances sensuality with style. From delicate lace to smooth satins, each piece is designed to make you feel as good as you look—whether it’s a quiet self-care Sunday or a moment worth remembering.

Before the store was in Casa Linda Plaza, it was located in the Medical Arts Building downtown. But when Peggy Maddox founded the business, she ran it out of her home.

Back then, she was providing people with polio with back braces and undergarments. The store later became known for its extended bra sizes and for making bras for people who had double mastectomy surgeries.

These two additions to the shopping center mean that this corner of the Garland Road-N. Buckner Boulevard intersection will have a tanning salon, a med spa, a nail salon, a hair salon, a waxing salon, a beauty store, a lash studio and a massage business, not to mention the chiropractic and dental offices.
