H.D.’s Clothing Company, a men’s and women’s boutique that occupied two of the spaces at the strip, is moving after 37 years, according to owner Vicki Demarco.

H.D.’s will join San Francisco Rose, who is closing after 40 years, in its departure. H.D.’s will be moving to a store at 4506 Lovers Lane, near the tollway. They hope to be out of the Lower Greenville location by the end of the month.

After the two departures, French bistro St. Martin’s will be the only remaining occupant in the complex.

Demarco says she is excited about new adventure on Lovers, which will allow them to combine the men’s and women’s sides of the boutique, which were in non-adjacent spaces at the current location. Demarco says that she couldn’t come to an agreement with the landlord about how the space would be used.

“As much as we regret leaving East Dallas, this is a great business opportunity for us,” Demarco said.

The landlord, who lives in Houston, has also been locked in a legal battle with the owner of the San Francisco Rose about their rental contract. The legal case went all the way to the Texas Supreme Court, which ruled favor of the landlord.
