On April 4, the organization is hosting “Celebration! White Rock” A 5k/10k run at Winfrey Point, complete with local food vendors, live music and a one-of-a-kind Race Day Beer.

The Race Day beer is a collaborative project between Lakewood Brewing, Oak Highlands Brewery, Vector Brewing and White Rock Alehouse. It will be available for one day only, exclusively at the event.

Before the event, all four breweries will sell a special featured IPA in-house. Between March 2 and April 4, the breweries will donate $1 for each pint of the featured IPA sold to benefit WRLC. The funds will be put towards improvements to the park and building a new playground. To try them all at once, White Rock Alehouse will offer a flight of each featured IPA on March 2 from 5-7 p.m.

Register for the run at WRLC website, or donate directly to the organization here.
