Following on the heels of last year’s "The Secret Garden" musical, Woodrow Wilson High School’s theater department will present "Beauty and the Beast" as its musical this spring. I didn’t attend the meeting, but Woodrow parent Michelle Baus, the mother of senior Kobie Baus, passed along the news.
If you’ve ever attended a Woodrow musical, you know it’s a high-energy affair, put together after months and months of work by parents, students and faculty. No word yet on who will be Beauty or who will play the Beast — or who will play any of of the various kitchen utensils involved in the show either — but tryouts will be later this fall.
