Over the course of nine years, Woodrowfest has transformed from an evening of live music into dual-event, a golf tournament and a festival. The event will be held on Friday, October 2oth, with the primary goal of providing college scholarships to deserving Woodrow Wilson seniors.

WoodrowFest is a one-day experience with two events happening to raise funds for college scholarships to benefit the graduating class of Woodrow Wilson High School.

Golf Tournament

The annual golf tournament will take place at Tenison Park, with check-in starting at 8 a.m., and putting contest at 9 a.m. Participants in the gold tournament will receive golf balls, golf & cart, a swag bag, breakfast, lunch, drink tickets, prizes and entrance to the festival.

Individuals can enter the golf tournament in one of two ways: as a Single Swinger for $250 or as part of a Gold Team for $1,000.

Tournament winners will be recognized and awarded prizes at the festival. Tournament awards will include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, closest to the pin, and longest drive.

Festival

The Festival portion of the day will be at Shakespeare In the Park Amphitheater featuring White Rock Ale House Beer Tent, food trucks, Kid’s Zone Bounce House, live music, raffles, and more.

Performances will be by Woodrow’s Variations and Jazz Band with musical guests by Prophets & Outlaws and Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights.

Local residents and parents seem to be ready to indulge in the festival and are awaiting its return this month.
