Woodrow Wilson High School teacher Joseph Solis, 28, was arrested yesterday and charged with improper relationship between educator and child. According to sources at Woodrow, several students witnessed the arrest.
From what I can tell, Tawnell Hobbs first reported this on the Dallas Morning News DISD blog. After reading the initial reports earlier today, I left a message with Jon Dahlander at DISD headquarters — he called me back in short, saying DISD didn’t plan to issue any comments regarding the incident.
It’s been suggested that Solis was having a sexual relationship with a 10th grader — but no official word on that yet.
