Woodrow Wilson High School Student Liz Magallanes co-hosts School Zone Dallas, which airs this month on KERA.

Tune in to KERA to watch Woodrow’s Liz Magallanes as she co-hosts School Zone Dallas alongside Malcolm Hornsby of the Rosie M. Collins Sorrells School of Education and Social Services at the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center (that’s going to take up valuable space on his resume).

The Dallas ISD show hosted by students airs Friday, February 18, at 5 p.m., Sunday, February 20, at 9:30 a.m., and Monday, February 21, at 6 a.m., on KERA-Channel 13. The show, sponsored by the John Eagle Family of Car Dealerships, focuses on “the good news and outstanding people who are part of the Dallas Independent School District,” producers say. This month they’ll showcase Multiple Careers Magnet students, the Architecture Cluster at Skyline and the elementary school students who are members of the city’s youngest drumline, to name a few.
