I can’t believe the month is already half over, and no one told me: February is National Chocolate Month? Supposedly. Sounds good to me, anyway.
Hotel Palomar is celebrating national chocolate day (supposedly) this Thursday, Feb. 17. Whether chocolate day is a real thing is beside the point — it’s chocolate day at Palomar. From 5-7 p.m., the hotel will open its daily wine hour, normally for hotel guests only, to the public. They’ll offer complimentary samples of Central 214 chef Blythe Beck’s specialty desserts, including chocolate chip bread pudding and Maker’s Mark chocolate, peanut butter and banana shake served with warm blondies.
