If you read our story in the May issue of the Lakewood-East Dallas Advocate, about Woodrow Wilson High School senior Hannah Louis who seeks to become an internationally recognized equestrian rider this month, you might appreciate this note from her dad, Jim:
“I wanted to let you know that Hannah just completed a show in Louisiana this weekend and finished first,” he wrote in an email. “It is the last show at the Prelim level and sets her up for a One Star level event in Weatherford.”
The big event in Weatherford is coming up this weekend, and Hannah says she is “ready to rock it.”
“We are really excited for her and [winning the show in Louisiana] is a boost to her confidence and will make her last ride at the One Star that much more special,” Jim explains. “When she started riding years ago, she only dreamed of riding at this level, and to win and move on the next level makes it that much more special.”
