Students at Woodrow Wilson High School will be off until Monday, Feb. 1, according to a statement from DISD. The 88-year-old building sustained an unknown amount of damage during a fire that caused a school-wide evacuation on Tuesday (see our video and gallery here).

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it appeared to be contained to the wall leaving many at the school to suspect electrical issues.

The bulk of the damage could be seen in a third-floor boys bathroom. However, flames were also spotted in the first-floor auditorium, so it seems all three floors of the school sustained damage.

Students and teachers were invited to return to the school Thursday morning to retrieve items left during the evacuation.
