Here’s something to do this weekend for free: the White Rock East Garden Tour. There are nine gardens in three East Dallas neighborhoods — Little Forest Hills, Casa Linda Estates and Forest Hills. This is the eighth annual tour, which raises money through a raffle and plant sale. The proceeds are split between the neighborhoods and used for beautification. Part of last year’s proceeds went toward a "Forest Hills" sign made of iron, said Lottie Minick, an artist and volunteer on the garden tour.
