As happens every year around this time, I had a last-minute urge last night to bake cookies for everyone I know. Unfortunately for everyone I know, this plan didn’t make it much further than my perusal of these 25 cookie recipes in the Washington Post. By the way, does anyone know where to buy raw unsalted pistachios and dried sour cherries?

Every year at Christmastime, my mom makes this fudge from a recipe that calls for marshmallow fluff. It is so good and awesomely bad for you. It’s pretty easy to make, too.
