Since its simple start in 2009 Texans around DFW are getting involved and coming together to give back, serving as a reminder that each of us have something to give, and something we are passionate about.

In order for any nonprofit to thrive, there has to be people willing to help make a difference through donations to in return help the community thrive.

North Texas Giving Day is the day where passion meets purpose. People can search through more than 27 areas to support, this includes animals, education, healthcare, housing, racial equity, homelessness and so much more.

In addition, people can get involved to make a direct impact in their local community by selecting locations that are filtered to the area they are in.

There are over 3,300 local organizations who participate in Communities Foundation of Texas’ 15th annual NTX Giving Day, and this year so many are giving back to make an even bigger difference in North Texas.

But don’t let the 21st night of September be the only time to give back to the community. There are so many ways to help support nonprofits. Whether it’s through courteous donations, volunteering, or simply just spreading awareness through social media, every little effort counts.
