Deep Ellum Brewing Company will host Cup Noodles’ first-ever Noodle Bar campaign and the company is inviting local foodies and beer lovers to pair a beer with Cup Noodles Stir Fry and Cup Noodles Stir Fry Rice just in time for Oktoberfest.
Through a partnership with Advanced Cicerone Mandy Naglich, Cup Noodles created a Noodles + Brews Pairing Guide that carefully matched each Cup Noodles with a craft brew style based on the taste and ingredients in each cup.
“A perfect flavor match can really elevate an eating experience. It doesn’t have to be fancy to be fun, such as pairing craft brews and noodles,” said Naglich. “There is such a wide variety of tasting notes in Cup Noodles Stir Fry and Cup Noodles Stir Fry Rice with Noodles, that for every zesty, tangy, or bright sauce, there’s a craft beer that makes it even better. I just had to find it! Trying these pairings is really an adventure for the taste buds.”
Starting Saturday Sep. 30 at noon, people can enjoy the Noodle Bar pop-up in Deep Ellum and try anything from a savory cup or a spicy cup with a thoughtfully paired beer to cool down their tastebuds.
Some of the paired beers and noodles include:
- Thai Yellow Curry paired with Belgian Wit Beer
- General Tso’s Chicken paired with Hazy IPA
- Japanese Teriyaki Chicken paired with Belgian Golden Strong
- Korean Spicy Beef paired with American Wheat Ale
