Well Grounded Coffee Community (WGCC) owner Natalie Huscheck has released her first book, telling the story of her shop and the women that staff it.
Huscheck founded the 501(c)(3) nonprofit to offer employment and second chances to women in rehabilitation programs. In her book, But God…, she tells the story of her first nine hires, arranged as a 30-day devotional. Each woman is profiled over three chapters, her past, her present and future.
This Saturday, March 16, WGCC hosts a book launch event in-house from 2-4 p.m. The featured baristas will be signing books and speaking about their experience, complete with live music and plenty of coffee to go around.
