The neighborhood’s chilliest fundraiser hits this Sunday, Jan. 8, when attendees are challenged to take the Polar Bear Plunge in the name of Alzheimer’s. Hosted by Hypnotic Donuts and the Dallas Fraternal Order of Eagles, for a $10 donation, you can take an icy dip into the Eagles’ pool before warming up in the Tiki Bar while you nibble on donuts. There will also be a snow-play area for kids, a raffle for a catered office brunch from Hypnotic Donuts and food and drink available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Greater Dallas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. The event begins at 3 p.m. at the Fraternal Order, 8500 Arturo Drive. For details, contact Joshua Griffin at 214-668-6999 josh@hypnoticdonuts.com.
