Skillman Southwestern Library‘s book club has selected a new biography about plastic surgeon Thomas Dent Mütter, who revolutionized modern surgery and founded the intriguing Mütter Museum in Philadelphia. They will meet to discuss the biography, “Dr. Mutter’s Marvels: A True Tale of Intrigue and Innovation at the Dawn of Modern Medicine,” today (Jan. 13) at 6:30 p.m. Skillman Southwestern Library is located at 5707 Skillman. Kicking off this week and continuing through March 20, an exhibit by Dallas native Martin Delabano will be on display at St. Matthew’s Cathedral Arts.
