Like painting? Want to help out at Woodrow? Neighborhood resident and Woodrow parent Troy Harper needs you. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 6 p.m. in Room 2109 at the school, Harper is looking for at least four adults to be "trained" as lead painters to help supervise others — including students — who will be painting classrooms at the school. Harper says once you’re trained, you’ll be asked to supervise an occasional painting session — you don’t have to attend them all. Most of the sessons will be on weekends during the upcoming school year and summer. If you can help, Harper says the session will last three hours and recommends volunteers "wear your paint clothes".
