I took my mom to the Swiss Avenue Home Tour this weekend. The tour is always on Mother’s Day, and it’s a real celebration of the address. They had live music in Savage Park, some interesting artist vendors that I haven’t seen at any other street fair, and of course, peeks inside some of Dallas’s grandest homes.
We found out that one home on the tour, which is pictured at the right, is going on the market at under $900,000. If I lived to be 100, I probably would never qualify for a $900,000 mortgage. Yet it strikes me as a pretty good deal.
