Most us just surf YouTube for kicks like seeing a model wipeout on the catwalk, but the Dallas Police Department has started using YouTube to fight crime and so have several homeowners’ associations. Now, local business owners are picking up on that trend too.
NBC 5 aired a story last night about Texas Hydroponics and Organics in Deep Ellum, a shop that’s has been tagged with graffiti over and over again. Fed up business owner Tom Marek opted to take matters into his own hands by recently posting surveillance video of the vandals on YouTube, who appear to be young females.
The post has already received nearly 700 views. There’s also a $600 reward for anyone can identify the vandals in the film. Half that reward is coming out of Marek’s own pocket, and Dallas councilwoman Angela Hunt is matching the other half.
So check out the video and watch closely – it might just pay off big if you recognize any familiar faces.
