Emergency vehicles lined Glasgow Drive to fight a fire at Woodrow Wilson High School on Jan. 26, 2016, around noon. (Photo by Emily Charrier)

Dallas Fire-Rescue arrested two teenage boys on the campus of Woodrow Wilson High School Jan. 26 in connection with the fire that closed the school for three days. The boys, both 15, face arson charges and are not being identified because of their young age.

They are suspected of smoking in a boys bathroom on the historic school’s third floor. Flames quickly spread, and could be seen in the first-floor auditorium (check out our photo gallery and video from the chaotic scene). The students and staff were quickly and safely evacuated, and able to return to school relatively quickly.

It is not yet known exactly how much damage the 88-year-old building sustained — the fire was in it’s historical wing.
