We’ll have to wait another day or two to get drawings of the company’s proposal for the Minyard’s site. I’m told the architects wanted another day to work on them.

This is probably a good place to note that Jonathan Vinson of Jackson Walker, who is representing Whole Foods in the zoning case, used to write a column for us. But he hasn’t done that in five or six years, and he didn’t call me about this. He seemed a little surprised when I called him.

I have also talked to a couple of neighborhood groups, who said the company has told them that they want to meet with the groups as quickly as possible.

Also, one of yesterday’s comments asked if Whole Foods was going to go higher than one story. They aren’t, says Vinson. The land is zoned for one story, and that’s what it will be.
