East Dallas-based rock ensemble the Polyphonic Spree performs a free concert Friday, June 17, at the Dallas Museum of Art. The band performs at 9 p.m. on the museum’s Ross Avenue Plaza. If you’re a fan of the Polyphonic Spree, and you’re not watching MasterChef on Fox, you should. It features one of the band’s chorus members, Jennie Kelley, who has made the cooking competition show’s top 18.
The Pied Piper’s Magic opens at the Dallas Children’s Theater Friday and runs through July 17.
The newly formed Lakewood Youth Cycling Club holds its first meeting and group ride at 10 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot at T.P. Hill. The group will ride once around the lake every Saturday, weather permitting.
