East Dallas-based filmmaker Eric Steele wrote a play with a long title: “Bob Birdnow’s Remarkable Tale of Human Survival and the Transcendence of Self.” And that play is being produced as part of the Festival of Independent Theaters. It shows at 8 p.m. Friday, July 29 and Thursday, Aug. 4 at the Bath House Cultural Center.
