Through April 6, St. Matthew’s Cathedral Arts is hosting the traditional fine-art photography of J.B. and Susan Harlin, which is an expression of the beauty of the world as seen through the classic view of the camera. This husband-wife duo is on a lifelong mission of seeing, learning and doing. All the photographs are produced solely in the darkroom using traditional materials and processes, exploring the beauty and craft of traditional film photography. It’s open to all, and the breakfast is free, but donations are accepted. Proceeds go towards various neighborhood causes, including scholarships for Woodrow Wilson. Will be held at Skillman Church of Christ, 3014 Skillman Street.

If you’re looking for something musical, The Prophet Bar in Deep Ellum is hosting an album release for La Dispute on Saturday. Pianos Become the Teeth and Mansions will also be playing. Doors open at 8 p.m. Entrance is $15. All ages welcome.
